NO. The whole idea of aptitude tests is to gauge if you have the right personality for the job, or to assign you a position that best suits you.Originally posted by hisoka:but the whole idea is to answer so you get the job right?![]()

actually for a specific job application, yes the idea of aptitude tests on the employer's pov is to guage you for the right personaility/aptitude.Originally posted by Kuali Baba:NO. You're not supposed to be faking it. If you do you'll create a lot of misery for yourself and for other people.
but why will the company want to hire someone who is not suitable for the job?Originally posted by hisoka:actually for a specific job application, yes the idea of aptitude tests on the employer's pov is to guage you for the right personaility/aptitude.
but if we take the appliacant's point of view, you go there and do it to get the job. the main/ultimate purpose is to get the job offer, not to help the employer see if you are suitable.
as i said, 2 somewhat conflicting viewpoints and interests. the applicant or I wants the job.Originally posted by stellazio:but why will the company want to hire someone who is not suitable for the job?
they're the one paying the salary.
the applicant wants a job, the the company is not obliged to give the applicant a job if it does not meet their requirement.Originally posted by hisoka:as i said, 2 somewhat conflicting viewpoints and interests. the applicant or I wants the job.
the company wants to see who is most suited.
From company point of view wants honest answers so it can make the best choice. thats the best scenerio for it. But thats not the best scenerio for the applicant if he/she is not the best fit or the best applicant(and theres only 1 out of hundred? which makes the odds of the person being it abit on the low side).
