  i think sooner or later, everyone at my organisation will be certified...
  
  i was.. but never got around to re-certification
  
  i used a S&W .38 short barrel one

  at that time, yes...
  
  the normal one is the 'long' barrel one... the short one was mostly for concealed weapons.. like strapped on the leg or whatever..
