okay.. sadly, our organisation is made up of a lot of people whose taste run from the tacky to the "wtf kind of drugs are you on?"
some section came up with an official carrier bag for use and it looks like some kind of 3rd rate ahbeng construction contractor company paper bag..
also, some section printed a crapload of wrapping paper with the official logo on it.. thing is, the colour and the bloody logo all over it makes it look like the clothes of those jumping things in chinese vampire movies -

was also looking at the internal magazine.. we keep telling the people to give us hi-res pics.. they take it upon themselves to mangle the pics, shrink them and all that before sending it to us.. as a result, pics of some people are hilarious... we've got a few that make some of them look like Frankenstein Monsters, a few who seem to have more than 2 eyes, and some look like pixellated mutants...
the stupidity of it all is that we ask them for the original digital pics, and the idiots have deleted them...

Don't think my photographer edited my wedding shots too much - but its the MAKE UP i've got... all those fakey eyelashes and blah..plus I hardly put on makeup... and all my friends saying "waaa.. u look so nice.... so .. unlike how u normally loook" I was like.. ok.. am I supposed to take this as a compliment!!!!
do they find comments like this complimentary??

imagine hubby comes in, look at wedding pic...
then looks at me under the pic in my grubby tshirts, reading my crumpled book, digging my nose or something.

A friend of mine in HR was telling me, its best for applicants NOT to send those very nicely taken makeover/glamour shots that seem so popular these days with their applications because the interview panel always feel very sian when they see the actual person looks nothing like that.Originally posted by ShrodingersCat:yah that delusional wife...

they can't get it through their armour-plated skull that understatement and style would make things look heck of a lot more classy than it actually is.. they like the very obiang things..
