in other news, the office tv is about to die.. it suddenly went blank and lost the CNA channel (only) which we leave on so that we can monitor
i had to go re-tune the tv for that channel -

My goodness I saw Bear's post in SC and I can't believe up till now they cannot get it into their heads what this 'freedom' is all about

And in AA I still can't believe that jojobeach thinks that emotional manipulation and emotional blackmail is ok just because the man is stubborn and that is the last resort kinda thing.
I just hope that is not how she is going to approach her relationships. -
well, SC is like that.. says a lot about the maturity of the people out there
as for that AA 'advisor'.. she'll live her life looking over her shoulder.. not the way i like to live but it's ultimately her life

It works. Trust me. I've seen it in action. And from the way it is said, it is used very often and all the time.
It is like on auto mode without trying to get to the root of the problem and that is very bad -

I think in her case it might be a male ego problem and to get him to react differently you can't be too direct about it and make it think it is his idea and I think they will get around it.
And I agree with what Bear said coz that was what killed my last relationship and the best part was, I was not the one using emotional blackmail

I hate that. I rather trash it out and fix it coz the resentments just build up

I became so resentful of him dumping all this emotional stuff on me to get his way that I just turned the other way
