yeah.. parades through the city, and i think there is an autumn festival in conjunction with the F1, the Moomba.. with rides and games and stuff.. a big fair
then on tv, there's a lot of F1 related things...
if the people involved with the Singapore F1 know what they're doing, they should go there and learn.. the whole of melbourne city is involved...
then there are things like celebrity races, V8 Supercar races at the track..
in the city, everywhere is decked out for the races, sales and things like that connected with the race, stuff like that all week..
good stuff.. that's why i want to go for the week before the race and a few days after to do some proper sightseeing.. i was a lousy failure when i was in uni there.. never visited the touristy sites like the great ocean road and all thatOriginally posted by sbst275:I see

but i love royal easter show and all those shows, but they never happen during end of the year in Australia one.. latest i think is Perth and that's September. -

The memorable thing I did at Melbourne.. I fell off the bed (which is about 2-3 mattress high)...I forgot I was at my kakis friends place...thought I was at home.. rolled over and fell right down on the floor, onto my face....! so embrassing..
