although in melbourne city, st kilda beach is nice to walk about too.. lots of shops and stuff
Well look forward to visiting melbourne again end of the year. Bringing a double family load with me for driving holiday - mother in law and grandmother aged above 70~ my mom and dad and auntie and brother in law...
all tucked tight into a rented Terago. -
we just went on as many of the high-G rides as we could...
i was the only one who kept eating and going on rides...

i remember I took a coach (last min buy tics somemore on a christmas eve) from sydney to melbourne, came across the highway roadhouse for makan, it was still cold during the nite (december) at the highways, and the food and hot drinks at the roadhouse are very welcoming.. I love that experience..
I was sprawling over the seats facing the windows, the SKY with all those STARS, it was amazing....,,,looking at the stars, wondering if Santa will fly pass... -

i did some camping with my 1st year roommate and some friends in his hometown.. it is wonderful to look up into the sky, enjoy some cheap wine -

It's just DIFFERENT being together in the middle of the forest, park, beach, eating fruits, seeing the scenery, listening to the crickets. Makes me feel peace inside my heart like I'm part of the universe -

i figure, i've done the camping for my lifetime already.. since my spine will be unable to let me do any more
oh.. in australia, please know what to do if you come across snakes.. almost all of the snakes there are lethal
in other news, some weird news => New York releases 720,000 ladybirds into the city

Once in a while hubby and some friends we wld go changi beach or some offshore island to camp .... like retreat from the cold heartless world.. heehee -

and the lizards... I guess one big problem w camping in australia is the number of poisonous animals there! -

Apply ur standard insect repellent regular, spray on the net of ur tentage and u could avoid most of them
and those u could not avoid, you would only get itchy about a couple of days after. So .. u can enjoy ur camping
did I mention damn bloody itchy? heehee. but unless u allergic, no lasting harm done lah.
oh also helps if u dont itchy fingers make sandcastle or watever in most of local beaches by digging into the sand. -

when i was with her, i found out that her whole family was petrified of bugs and stuff like that... -
