i remember my ex-gf saying she went there with her family once.. and in the bathroom of the motel they were in, there was a cane toad which took refuge in there..
none of them dared to go in there
when i was with her, i found out that her whole family was petrified of bugs and stuff like that...
my poor dad was man of the family and attempted to slam the bugger... and rest of us screaming around when the owner of the chalet came and said, dont worry not poisonous.. (WHO CARES IF ITS POISONOUS OR NOT!!! I dun want it near me!) -

btw, I have 5 spots which leeches fed on (my legs), the red marks are still there...cannot heal...(that was last year October at Mt something something at JB)... -

well, it would be much worse if poisonous. at least not poison means you can get near to whack and squash without fear of dying -

one of the leech sank it's teeth so deep, that the puncture wound cannot heal leh..

i got one on my arm somemore..
but can't be worse that one guy got one at his bums, his galfriend has to try to ride of that leech....

I hate leeches. Am terrified of seeing them on my body. My mind freezes when I see one and I try to walk as fast as I can to prevent them from crawling up my body. and err never wear sandals or berms.. i always wear long pants tucked ugly into socks.. cos i hate HATE HAAAAAAAAAAAAAATE LEECHES!!!!!!!!!!!!!! -

came across the thing before too.. it was hilarious...
i was seated in the back seat of my friend's Hyundai Excel... it was a 2-door car...
seated beside me was this guy who was an arachnophobe... i saw the thing on the side of his car... right beside him on the window.. so i said "be calm" and i pulled him away.. he didn't know what i was doing and was telling me "wtf are you doing?"
i calmly said to the driver of the car "Kirstie, pull over gently.. there's a huge spider in the car.. i think it's a wolf spider"
that's when i heard the largest scream from a guy and one of the biggest in-car freak outs
i swear, before the girl in the front seat of the car was out, the dude was already out of the car when the door opened (remember.. this was a 2-door Hyundai Excel)
i identified the spider, and was confirmed by the driver (she's native there and was brought up on a farm so she's seen these things so many times before)

nowadays can find leech insect repellent too liao leh. At least my last couple of trips.. i didnt kenna lah.

My mom's place is near kampong last time once we came home saw a hairy spider on the wall..w something stuck on it. My bro sprayed repellent on it, that thingy exploded and of course it was an egg sac.. and .. out sprayed abt a million baby spiders crawling all over the fllooor
some people might find this an interesting zoological phenomenon but.. for me, it was just.. horror!!! -
