When did the CEO of SMRT win a May Day award?Originally posted by av98m:why do you think we are falling far behind countries like hong kong and china in service standards. and these 2 countries used to be notorious for bad customer service!!![]()
thats giving her the benefit of the doubt alreadyOriginally posted by fudgester:When did the CEO of SMRT win a May Day award?
Anyway, I can understand that the woman probably needed a toilet break.... or perhaps her computer terminal was frozen and had to be rebooted.
But would it have killed her to nicely explain that to me instead of telling me to buzz off just like that?!?!![]()

I dunno about you.... but in my opinion, it kinda defeats the purpose of a fire drill to test readiness if you know beforehand that it's gonna happen later.![]()
Yeah.. I agree.Originally posted by the Bear:you'll be surprised how effective these things are...
you practise, even with prior notice.. and people know what to do in the future if there is a real emergency instead of running around in panic

I mean, its good to have a fire drill, but its not when you're the fire warden for that particular floor!
Plus... its quite badly coordinated ... my previous workplace was so much better. And had to learn fire fighting for different types of fires.. quite interesting actually.
only 2 other people??Originally posted by the Bear:i'm the assistant fire warden for my office.. i have to herd the other 2 people in my section to the evacuation area and account for them

That's easy!
Usually its 1-2 firewardens for the entire floor..Originally posted by the Bear:yeah... my section only 3 people...
other sections have many people and their assitant fire warden has a tough time
