And you are right about the PRCs or Indians because they want to lord over you. The thing is that alot of them have been suffering for a long time and they turn rich overnight and suddenly you have money and power. And seriously, money and power in your hands overnight when you are not used to it can corrupt you very very badly.
Seriously Fatum, those ppl in SC ... I dunno how long they wanna be a frog in the well or snail in a shell. They are in for a very nasty shock -

they hated it cos everyone in singapore viewed them as 'prostitutes'
but they are really very nice people. and most of the time people just dunno their whole story...and no it's not always a story about 'wanting to give their kids a better life etc' that's oni part of it... -

the accent helps ... so we have a situation where some asian kid speaks to their family in a choo ching chong accent, and outside with a "canadian" one .... I put brackets around cos some of these people end up with a thicker accent than the ang moh themselves ... -

Am in the office, cos last night, then confirmed that I wont have to work at WWW on Sat.
Will have to be there on Sun for a birthday party though. That should be fun. I hope they pair me up with another party host that I always wanted to.
Now in the office, just finished off a plain Thosai, and drinking a big jug of water mix with ice mix with a can of longan.
Dammmm.....this is satisfying! I should buy more cans of longan to the office next week to share with some collegues.
And officially, I shall be ignoring the 'office manager'.
