if u r 'similar' to what people at a certain place are used to, they will def be more comfortable with u...
i DO feel uncomfortable speaking to people if they speak with a heavy accent. cos sometimes very embarrassing for both parties when i have to ask them to repeat themselves all the time....

Hell yeah..... I got plenty of nonsense from Indian and Chinese tourists while I was working at Sentosa over the holidays. personally i prefer saturdays...cos, can go there earlier to read books, then makan, then go for ice cream, then can relax and chat, without worrying about next day gotto work and may kana tired easily ..

Lets see....I left office on my little motorcycle early at 7+pm.
Rode aimlessly around in Katong area until i decided to go to parkway parade. Did some shopping there and even bought a dress for $19.90/- That shop has sunglasses on sale too @ $8/- each, so i one shot bought 3 sunglasses....one being a dockers sunglass
Then bought some more shampoo, hair serum and some cufflinks. I will still need to find ties that will match those cufflinks colours. They will be great for prezzies.
Then......I went to chitchat with my favourite jewllery shop manager and I was shocked at the price of gold now. Its blardy going to reach $50/-!
I went to bodyshop. The Lotus Petal Showr Gel & Lotion is now selling at $19.90 a set instead of $33/-
Then went to LC foodcourt. Didnt see mch of my friends, but still managed to find a table to sit as someone else wave me over. and my surprise to see my VSC workmate there. It was his first time there and he managed to meet a lot more bikers there.
Sat, then saw another old man biker my firm has business with, went over talk to him and biatch about my office manager.....then I went to order food, sit down and eat.....I ordered mix vegies rice but it turns out to have meat and prawns....i avoided the meat and prawans but later still ate them.
Then.....I couldnt wait for my friend any longer, sms him and then went home.
He later drop by my block to collect his NRIC from me and we chatted.

Its the date after my self imposed (not strictly) vegetarian month. -
acutally 11 & 23 nite, auntie me got work. 30 would be very tired after long hours on 29...... but for the sake of FOOD, i can cook up some excuses like i am divorcing, separating, women monthly pain...etc etc..and siam...

The boat quay area is crowded today.
I came by on my tiny motorcycle, circled 3 rounds and still cannot find a motorcycle parking lot.
Whats worse is that I finally spot one lot....but there is a Subaru backed into it. Whoever parked it......was parking out of his car lot and occupying the motorcycle lot.
i finally had to park at double yellow line outside the park lot.
