you start from knowing the most basic things.. i mean if u don't even know the capital of the country, how much else would you know about the politics? the culture? the belief systems? Economy?Originally posted by hisoka:true lah. but then you don't need to know asia is the biggest continent. nor do you actually need to know australia capital is canberra, you only need to know about the pple and such the capital like not important leh![]()

Plus there is no knowledge that is useless.

It starts from the basic knowledge, and expand from there.
Same thing about Asia. Culturally, most countries in Asia share commonalities. This is one very powerful aspect considering that Asia is the BIGGEST continent in the world - it is information that has political impact, economical impact... for that matter.. ENVIRONMENTAL impact. As long as people in Asia don't understand how the importance of their contribution to environmental protection (as the biggest continent) - our environmental problems are going to persist.

if you feel something is important you would go learn about/do it. if you don't then its probably a matter of you thinking its unimportant compared to other more important things *shrug*Originally posted by ShrodingersCat:exactly.... it's really ok to don't know.. its ok to know you don't know.. its even ok if u don't find out cos u busy or whatever...
but to think all these is unimportant to know err.. i think is a dangerous mindset.
