Wal-Mart had a number of unadvertised specials over the weekend. Among them was an HD-DVD player (the Toshiba HD-A2) for US$98.
I'm not in the market for an HD-DVD player, but at that price, I would have been brain-dead to not pick one up. Or two--one for me, and the other to give as a Christmas present.
Guess I'll have to look for an HD-TV now... -
