  you figure out where the parts of your boots are rubbing on your foot.. tape up that part of your foot.. lots of thick tape which sticks well.. can use masking tape or those types of tape dancers use.. or even bowling tape..
  
  then for the boot, use a candle to rub that part like mad.. it will smoothen out that part with the wax to lessen the friction..
  
  the trick is to be aware of your foot enough to know which parts rub and may cause the blisters..

  yeah seems like good advice, its the 5th toe which always rubs against the boots.

  And Lumix's video mode does not have zooming capability, that's why I got the Canon Powershot S5 IS.
