Mum pleads for fugitive Singaporean to return home

JOHOR BARU: A 35-year-old Singaporean fled his country and has gone into hiding in Malaysia for the past six months – because he was caught stealing a can of beer.
Salesman Tan Wee Hong was charged in a Singapore court with theft in May and was released on a RM4,000 bail.
Under Singapore criminal law, the charge carries a penalty of up to three years' jail or a fine, or both, upon conviction.
However, Tan believed he would be whipped if found guilty.
He fled to Kuala Lumpur.
His mother, Lam Khim Lian, 59, is pleading for him to return. -

SQC is a sham award called Singapore Quality Class...
the higher award for it is called SQA.. or Singapore Quality Award..
it's rubbish and i've shredded the people judging organisations this award before.. they do not know simple business practices and tell us to adopt insane and irresponsible ones..
btw, at that time, they were giving out awards but they themselves did not qualify for it... and those which qualified for the higher award of SQA? only the Singapore Police Force was left.. the other 9 then had already gone out of business
btw, i'm back with 512MB RAM on my PC at work!
