thing is, when the new awards were created and the awards committee asked for feedback, I gave them a hard time about 3 of the awards, which I felt were plain dumb, impossible to come up with proper criteria, and the receipients and their peers may not see receiving such awards as a positive thing.
I think somewhere along the line they came up with the perfect way to get back at me for my comments

So did you get any of the strawberry plants? It should grow quite well in Singapore. We only bought one strawberry plant yesterday and see how it goes. We can get strawberries quite cheap from supermarket so might not be worth growing it ourselves.

I have 3 chilli plants
1 chilli padi plant, 1 ornamental chilli plant (really tiny chillis) and 1 bell pepper plant (but it's spicy!!)

My new job is going well. Enjoying it so far. Have been really busy working on the feasibility reports after the site visits I had last week. Will be going away on more site visits next week again for 3 days.
Unfortunately chilli padi is not one of them but I will endeavour to hunt for it to add that to my chilli "collection".
We can get onions pretty cheap so no point growing them. Chilli can be expensive to get so it's worth growing our own. -
Actually hor Ah Juice, we live so close to each other. I can meet you at Bedok MRT to pass u the DVD if you want tomorrow or is it Tampines for you (can't remember )

In fact he likes the fragrant chilli from those Cantonese Eating places where the chilli is savoury instead of spicy
In other news I'm worried what he will eat today for dinner since I will not be home. He was talking too much about oyster omelette and Char Kuay Teow for my liking (and I know he is capable of eating both)
