In other news piggy hurt the ridge of his shell
Not sure how he did that but he scraped it and I see a bit of pink
I wanna add salt but can't coz salt drives the pike crazy
(One of the pikes committed suicide after MPB added salt to the tank)
I'm not sure how he did that. But I saw it today when I brought him out for a shell scrub
He doesn't look that big in the tank but he has grown a lot!!! -

after MPB added salt in, one of them somehow jumped out
I don't even know how since the tank is fully covered
Anyway, it is still young and used to summer temperatures which is like now
Hopefully when it grows it would have been converted -

they are great fighters ... and also very predatory ... I've seen pike take down ducklings and attacking perch nearly their own size before ..... and they can live for some time out of water, like the snakehead .... -

but the baby is very cute

They have been on sale in Singapore since a few years ago
So far no one has really been able to convert it properly (which is a good thing since the local reserviors are already filled with Amazon monsters)
