i need a new printer
everything i want to print needs to go to the giant colour printer.. which is so much more expensive to run than my little printer...
thing is, the little printer is dead and the tech side are not responding to the request for a new printer even when it's recommended and approved by the bosses -

this is the tech side which has kept RAM chips in their cupboards for years until they became obsolete..
and they stonewalled all requests for upgrades when we didn't know they had these chips sitting there collecting dust...
until i had it and ranted and raged.. so much so that the bosses decided to write in for upgrades through the official channels.. which got a response from someone..
the tech FMs (poor working contract staff) came in to fit mine.. i asked him "how much RAM you can spare?"
and he said "unlimited"
then the whole story about the chips being in the cupboard for years came out.. he didn't know of the existence either!
i'm letting this stew.. i'll write in again next week.. and see if they respond..
