  talking about renewal of passport, i better do it in Feb....expiring in Dec 08.
  
  I think that I should be going to Tibet in March 08, my kakis has confirmed the itinerary and tempting me constantly...must book tics in dec..

  My dentist is charging me US$165 for the extraction since it's a "tompang" treatment.

  depends how big it is.. dental usually small pieces of metal.. usually they use the wand and if it's on your head, they let it go

  I'm kicking myself for not having renewed my pp in Sg when I had the chance in 04. Now it's such a hassle. I have to mail the application to San Francisco and collect it in person. It's such a l-o-n-g drive though. I'll do it after the holidays *note to self* Say bear, what's the turnaround?

  it's not the distance...it the altitude change. it takes 1 day for some to get use to it but many days for others
