The previous trip to India in Jan this year, i am the idle one..
the rest of my kakis did all the research and planning..
and ...I did my part by doing the BODYGUARD and LIAISON during our trip..
....(i am the fierce auntie)
This time, I'm gonna homework on Tibet during these few months..
(if i confirm go tibet).
and Vietnam (4 days only in Jan 0
too ..(that one still waiting for my team to organise)..
Must save money...no more shopping, except gluttony and yoga seesions.. -

why cant there be more effort to conserve nature reserves..

Varanasi......I can say one thing...its colourful, the building, the people, and the steps (no elevator hor)...u climb to the 5th storey (steep stairways just for one meal)..
go check out the burial grounds....the locals say if any Indian die and burial (by fire), they go heaven..
I see the whole body being burnt in the open.... and i will never forget the scene..

yes...burial ground...my trip, there is a river boat ride along ganges river but the central theme of this trip is to visit the 4 primary places where the Buddha's steps on -

Still on the subject of ecoterror.... I've been reading up on an ecoterrorist group, the Earth Liberation Front.
They aim to use economic sabotage as a means of preventing environmental destruction. For instance, they may use arson to destroy a ski resort which they feel is harming the environment.
What these idiots don't realise is that their actions harm the environment more than it helps. For instance, in firebombing a ski resort in protest of a planned expansion in 1998, the the ski resort had to cut down more trees to rebuild the place than what was actually planned for the extension.
And in firebombing the University of Washington's Center for Urban Horticulture in protest of genetic engineering, they actually destroyed several specimens of endangered plants.
