Meat, fish and alternatives. Alternatives include eggs, nuts, pulses (such as beans, lentils, chickpeas) and textured vegetable protein. Eat moderate amounts and choose lower fat versions whenever possible. They are a major source of protein, vitamins and minerals. Try to eat at least one portion of oily fish (e.g. sardines or salmon) a week.

wild atlantic salmon is almost never that .... there was this NYT article that said that more than 80% of the sampled "wild salmon" are actually farm bred ....Originally posted by elindra:Unless you pay a premium for wild salmon
And remember that the salmon flesh looks very pink because of the feed and wild salmon is not that pink
Ya but I don't recall seeing fresh sardines here in SG

And can refuse to see that it comes from higher income tax lvls and all
And then can argue that it is really free with no strings attached one
Aiyoooooooooo
I'm paying approximately 40 already ...Originally posted by elindra:Sure can be like Sweden, Finland etc where the government pays for everything. They have free education and what not and maternity leave of dunno how many months or years but the income tax is like
Example in Finland an individual's income is progressive. In other words, the higher the income, the higher the rate of tax payable. (That is why a lot of ppl there dun really want to work hard)
Income tax for an individual is like between 9%-32.5. In addition to direct taxation there is also municipal tax in Finland. This tax is payable by an individual on his or her income and it fluctuates between 16% - 21% depending on the municipal authority.
Therefore you can pay as much as almost 60% personal income tax!!!
