I think Lotus is thinking of tailoring for work shirts. I would suggest buying materials at Chinatown. -
And ermmm....I just collected my other tailored shirts.
The sofest materials yeilds a better draping at the shoulders.
Lets hope my washing off the starch of my kinda strange fitting shirts will help.
The Thai silk material shirt fits quite nicely...but I think the true cotton texture old shirts still looks best. -

I think I am giving up on my seamstress. I think she is only good at altering, not in reproduction.
Will need to source for new tailors.
i am so far missing a Sarong Kebaya & a Summer Yukata. Still has a decent cheong sum and a gown so I wont be rushing for cheong sums yet.
Saris will be good, or I might consider taking on a sewing machine to make new agey bohemia style long skirts just for the heck of it. -

the wild wild wet is opened for the whole week for the chidlrens holidays.
but I just cannot seem to work out any mood to go there and work during the weekdays leh.
plus the stomach....its no joke that its now purging mostly water everytime. thankfully i didnt eat curry or spicy stuffs....or like my nephew ever said: Butt hurts.
I always remember how cute it was when my brother in law tells me that story about them getting food poisoning when I flew over in January this year. -

And they have this clothe hanger thing that comes with a plastic zip up cover at $112/- that has a heat generating device at the bottom. Its a clothe dryer.
I am thinking of getting it for myself to dry the clothes instead of relying on Singapore strange weather nowadays.
I got a NEA officer came in my home and check for mosquito breeding ground. her only complaint is that my HDB bamboo hanging metal tubes has lost some of the covers and is now holding water.
But we cant seem to dry out the waters inside it enught for me to install in metal covers instead.
the plastic covers has deterioted and broken dowm from too much sun it seems. -
vk.. go swallow a handful of charcoal tabs.. and drink a couple of bottles of yakult or something like that.. yoghurt is good too..
then tomorrow, just eat wholemeal bread.. toast it if you wish.. no butter or margarine.. jam if you wish... but the fibre helps clean up your insides...
and if you can get your hands on some lomotil, swallow 1 tab.. not too much else you end up constipated...

The Muddy's outing on April Fool's was when we were all seated at the huge round table outing, and tried to flog Gackt's camera for more Guinness.
And then you had the first Kuishin-Bo outing just after Gackt and I enlisted.

There is good ones at Chinatown Pearls Centre if you like exotic clothes stuffs like Sarong Kebaya & kimono.
My steamstress keeps saying Katong Shopping centre & Cityplaza has good tailoring people. Might want to consider katong shopping centre there for sarong kebaya & cheongsum.
And for normal tailoring like work shirts, I like CityPlaz Lucky Tailor....dunno that uncle still there or not, he did my ex hub's skirts and pants too. -
