*me burns Design for Manufacturing and Assembly notes*
I actually have to do things like calculate the expected assembly time of a device based on the time it takes to handle and fix each component.
E.g:
- screw tightening takes 9 seconds.
- large symmetrical parts take 1.13 seconds to be handled, etc etc....

this thanksgiving...i managed to have a real good awesome one...

We always have honey baked ham but but but my fave supermarket near the house had a good deal. Free fixings if you buy a turkey! Free 5 pound bag of potatoes, free can of cranberries, free bag of stuffing and free chicken broth. All organic some more. I searched and searched for the smallest turkey I could find but nada. Had to buy a 12-14 pound bird. We need help. When you coming? -

argh!! my disreputation takes another hammering in the office
there is a special offer going around... subscribe to magazines and they give you $20 off.. per person per subscription..
so the clerical officer wants to order 1 magazine and her teenaged daughter wants another.. so she asked me if can put under my name since i don't want any of those magazines.. it's $20 cheaper.. so i say okay...
she puts my name under a teenager magazine... that's for her teenaged daughter...
suddenly, i become like some kind of cradle snatching predator -

Some of the slave labour figured out how to sabotage some of the processes, like adding sand to artillery shell propellants to deactivate them.
And their efforts did not go unnoticed... lots of surviving GIs would invariably talk about dud artillery shells landing within meters of their shellscrapes. -

Ah yes.... the T-34.... stuff of legends, that one. That was also one of the first tanks to make use of sloping armour.
The Germans would often fire lots of shells at them.... only to disconcertingly see those shells literally get deflected away by the sloped armour walls of the tank. -
