In one of the questions, we were given the diagram of a carbon steel part.... we were supposed to come up with a process plan for machining it.
There were two little holes on the part which I didn't notice (and many others didn't as well).... they were so small and so blurry that they looked like tiny little blemishes caused by printing errors.
It was only when the lecturer took the microphone and announced, 'Oh, for Figure 2, there are a couple of small holes' that we realised that those 'blemishes' were really drilled holes.
It may not seem like a lot.... but seriously, the positions of those two holes can change the process plan quite a bit.

i am doing my financial/retirement planning and hope to escape toronto during her winter months. so, each winter, we wanna go do like a short term rental at different countries and thailand is in the list.
i must pick your brains tho' as to the better spot in thailand.

Opinions? Comments? Advice? I'm thinking of getting one as my initial foray into dSLR digicams. I'm currently using a Canon PowerShot S3 IS. -

When did the lecturer make that announcement? If it was towards the end of the time alloted for the paper, and if enough test-takers misinterpreted the diagram due to its poor print quality, the examiners should either drop that question entirely from the test, or grade it according to whether or not the student noticed the holes in the diagram.
That would be the only fair thing to do. -

I am thinking of getting the package that includes two Zuiko lenses with the camera. Here's the item listing:
E-510 Kit Package w/2 lenses
Camera makers tend to not include the best lenses with their kit packages, but the 2 Zuiko lenses included with the above package have gotten very good reviews. Am I missing something? -
