  btw, i expect my staff to get abused again after the 2-month bonus thing was announced...
  
  this is in spite of the 13th month (almost mandatory thing which is taken into account as part of your normal pay packet anyway) being one of the 2 months..
  
  the working hacks out there who are abused by the public are those who work for about 5 years before getting around $1400 a month... if they are lucky... and they endure not only abuse, but an obscene workload, way too much (sometimes unpaid) overtime and pressure from the management...
  
  most do the work of about 3 people..
  
  just like my call centre which is reduced to 1/2 manning levels.. if anyone cares to go look at my building, they'll know that the civil service at my place is basically like a meatgrinder... and our staff are doing the best they can...
  
  these are the majority of the civil service...
  
  and why should the public begrudge us working hacks this pittance?
  
  ... btw.. i've been in my organisation for 11 years.. the pay has never been restructured even when our jobscope and responsibility has increased by over 300%
