I think other than a laptop, which you really need, and some dramas and movies, there isn't much else? Or you need more games for your nintendo -

Nintendo games can get here quite easily. I usually wait for sales cause I don't wanna pay the full price for something that's a non-essential item. I'm going to get a PC. Actually, I still can't make up my mind!
PC or laptop! If I get a PC, I can 'structure' my time a bit more and not do the crazy watch TV and surf online and end up with a royal headache and sleep deprivation thing, plus for the same price, you get more features for a PC compared with a laptop. Sigh...

I'm going to get a PC. Actually, I still can't make up my mind! PC or laptop! Since service here basically SUCKS, I'm still going for Dell cause of the on-site next business day service. No way am I going to pay through my teeth and bleed through my nose for PC servicing and neither do I relish the thought of lugging my PC on public transport here and then walking for miles like the Hebrews did to cross some desert just to get to the servicing shop. Don't forget, I don't drive, don't own a car, and don't have friends who are free enough to help me in this manner. -

btw.. if you want to buy a computer to play games, a Dell is the last thing you want.. there are others you can get onsite for..

Thing is, I become addicted to being online and I kinda don't want it to happen again. As it is, I'm now addicted to Foxtel. My days off are truly unproductive. And sadly, I'm very very happy to stay home most of the time and see absolutely no need to go out (and end up spending tons)! Plus, I haven't exactly met anyone here I really want to go out with.
I just 'lost' two Filipino friends who are my colleagues. We had a huge fight because I was going out with Libby on Sunday, then Roberto wanted to join in, which was ok by me BUT they started to yak in Tagalog and I asked him to please stop because it excludes me totally. He then defiantly said that it's nice to speak in one's own language. Excuse me, don't I know that?! But I said I won't speak in Mandarin to Ying if he goes out with me cause it's just being insensitive and rude and then Roberto, being a gay , became 'emotional' and started to argue like a crazy woman. So in the end, Libby had to stop us and then I went out with Libby, without Roberto, and he sashayed off in some girly tantrum.
So yeah... interestingly, a Tarot Card Reader predicted that I'll lose 2-3 friends within the week plus before that, I had a strong inkling that something will happen between us. I'm becoming psychic!
PS. HOW can you be friends with a group of people who insist on speaking in their language when you're in their midst?!
