i was deciding on macbook pro for a very very long time but the thing that sold me the m1330 was the 3 year onsite warranty.
warranty issues are a real bitch for apple in singapore. i always read that 3rd party service centres here have no spare parts and have to wait 3 weeks to get it. -

Pwnzor, I wanna get that Dell XPS with Windows XP. FOr some reason, XP is not offered for most of the other Dell models.
I was going to get an Inspiron but somehow, the XPS on the Dell site attracted me. I'm going to play games like The Sims, Restaurant Empire, SimCity 4, etc on it so I guess this is the best one!

i paid 2.8k with the 3 yr onsite warranty practically as free.
off the top of my head, i got:
C2D 2.2GHz
2Gig ram
160 GB HD
the new fangled LED backlighting (most vista notebooks dun have this)
Geforce 8400M 128 MB
the graphics card is pretty much essential for me, so it came down to price. i didnt want to pay that much for macbook pro. macbook has no dedicated graphics card and running on intel integrated is just... wrong. -

the older notebook has xp drivers.
however, there are many who loaded xp after getting their xps. just that it is troublesome to locate and find compatible drivers. -

ya, talking about macs, they're great all round except for their mouse accelerator.
using a mouse on my imac is a bitch. using a high dpi mouse on mac is kind like a waste. wonder why they couldnt figure that out.
i dunno if leopard fixes this issue. -

Well, my SQ ticket is for a year and I don't wanna be in Singapore in May, when it's so darn hot and too humid! I fell ill for the whole trip the last time round and frankly, I'm really feeling apprehensive about flying back this time round!
Much as I'd love to return home, I don't relish the idea of staying at my parents' place.
Sometimes, a little absence makes the heart grow fonder... if you get my drift!
Anyways, my bro and I became distant (esp after he dabbled in Politics), but now that he's too busy to bother, maybe things will improve again!
If I return, I sure hope to see more of you, Wanda! -

They used it as a model coz running a guild in WoW is no joke
It's really kinda like running a company
Sibei stress one if you are an officer (been in the position before)
The planning and management of members (staff)
Like in a company the performance is measured by profits
In WoW it is measured by progression and items
No cash but we use DKP
And like a company you have politics and power struggles
Oh and if you change guild it is like a company too
Must go for interview one
First you must fill in an application form that states your class and experience
Then hor the officers will interview you
Then you have to go for a trial (usually 2 weeks)
And if you pass you are hired if not bye bye -
