I am soooo tempted to order that Inspiron now!![]()
BCs store a lot better than regs ... the only place you'd have to be careful about is the purge valves ... I had mine replace twice already ... the soft rubber there tend to dry up very quick ...Originally posted by av98m:When I dived regularly, I used to get them serviced there before the season starts every year, but now they've been in storage for 2 years.....hoping they're still servicable T__T
And my BC!! I wonder if its even stilll usable by now. Its an out of production model made by Neptune so I can't even buy back the same model if I wanted to.

the 20", 2.4GHz one is sufficient.Originally posted by Rhonda:I'll need to use it to get online, to play games, and to churn out documents. That's basically it.

parental objection
ands its actually quite dangerous to go for such trips when you're already stressed at some level by your parents. makes you distracted.
butI've decided not to care. I'd rather die doing something I love than continue to live in regret

the only deal is that what kind of games do you play? u might want vista for compatibility. if you use *ahem* downloads, then u might not need to pay for vista.
when you're back in SG, buy another stick of 1 GIG ram and buy a razer mouse... i know some people's opinion may differ, but i think imac's stock mouse sucks so bad.
fuck that, I was only making myself depressed and miserable.Originally posted by Rhonda:Wow... didn't realise you're such a gwai zai!![]()

ye, you save a lot of if you buy it in SG. Aus prices are amazingly high, even with last fri's discount.Originally posted by Rhonda:Well, I can always get one when I'm back in SG! No reason why I can't own both a laptop and a PC!
Anyways, I think returning home in Mar / Apr is a great plan because I get to see my baby niece (who would have been freshly popped out of the oven!![]()
), I get to enjoy relatively summer-like weather that's gentler than the blardy awful Aussie summers here, and I get to play before I start studying proper.

btw, note that a new apple notebook would be released next year, probably announced at the next macworld.
its gonna be a lot slimmer and portable, most likely 13.3 LED screen, no built in optical drive (external, but hopefully not at extra cost), and NAND flash drive (optional maybe, gonna be expensive). it will be the same finish as the macbook pro, in aluminum. no word on graphics capability but here's hoping.
i think we should be prepared to see the thinnest notebook ever.
this is the link tho... the 2nd one.Originally posted by Rhonda:Huh? I don't see that one on that site.

like everything else, it can be dangerous when you ignore safety regulations and your gut feel. that's why those guys are dead.Originally posted by Rhonda:Eh... what's so dangerous about dragonboating?! I did it twice when I was in Junior College and I LOVED it!
