I'm the one who kick a big fuss over, why MPB didn't iron the pants properly, and why he cook steamed the fish Teochew style (I'm teochew but I hate steamed fish Teochew style)
Btw we have our designated chores and ironing is under his jurisdiction -

maybe it's coz i've been "trained" to do almost all chores around the house, i know how much of a.. uhh.. chore... they can be, i've never complained about anything and take anything if i don't have to do it as a bonus

What if...what seems obvious to you actually isn't obvious to him/her, and vice versa, because we've been wired/conditioned/trained to notice different things first?

because she stayed with me at my parents house for a couple of years, when we moved our things with somethings from her mom's place, i thought that was it.
place and nice and tidy with everything packed.
but when her mom moved to a new place to punggol, a whole lot of additional stuff was moved from her old place to my house.
i was floored at the amount of things she had and our house is not big enough or have enough storage for that many things.
that issue has been contentious for the past 3 months as i've been wanting to sell the stuff away.
she has like 50 expensive bears, probably bought from sascha and company, another 60 carebears in the old boxes, another 3 huge boxes of odd collectibles, and i dunno what else. my beautiful neat house is no longer nice and organized no more.
so you will have surprises here and there. -
some people polish their cars incessantly.. while some like me only drive it through the car wash when the windscreens become so dirty they are a safety hazard

I'm a pack rat too
I'm slowly moving all my mangas and toys over to our place as well
And my husband keep telling me he is tempted to throw them all away coz we really don't have so much space and our huse is no longer looking as nice
And no I do not have so many soft toys. My toys are my anime figurines and gundam robots -

What games did you play? And how old was the target audience?
My SIL is very into such things...even dressed up my niece like a princess and got the 3-yr old's hair specially done up at the hairdresser...it's too much for me.
