well... the No.2 didn't understand wtf we were trying to say when we wrote in for approval to make a new one..
being the total *&$# that she is, the boss decided to go try to push home the point that it was the other section that screwed up and we're trying to help fix it...
i don't know wtf the no.2 is thinking about or if he got yelled at by his battleaxe of a wife or what, he said that the pittance to make a new mold is "unfounded" and dunno what else..
the boss being the bootlicker that she is (she actually does look to that no.2 as some kind of deity), she's running around like a headless chicken trying to appease him...
i'm not part of this.. but i'm being dragged into the maelstrom...
worse, my project approval is being held up because of this so i can't go home yet

i am at work... reading a hugeass study with recommendations which speak of total ignorance of the guy who wrote it...

I don't normally close the register. This will be my 5th time in the almost 12 months that I've been there. I'm almost always the one who opens the register. Mom's schedule you know. Much as I enjoy the work, I'm going to call it a day come January. -

i'll show them what is wrong with it.. but they won't want to listen...
instead, they'll attack me personally, and then insist that i'm negative, anti-establishment.. all kinds of things.. because all my time here in this department, i've shown the shortcomings of lots of things...
this rubs those who initiate these things the wrong way.. it makes them look bad... instead of thinking of how to improve and make the organisation better and stronger, it's easier to shoot the messenger and pretend that the thing is perfect..
which is why i've my current reputation and that people have said that i'll never be considered for promotion... and what makes these idiots afraid of me is that i've never even cared for promotion or recognition

i've got to come back on 19th to do work even when i'm on leave.. and for the past month, i've been holding up the whole bloody section while the other two are on leave..
now the other guy has come back from leave and the first thing the guy does is fall ill.. i may have to pick up the load.. again...
