unfortunately, the leave.. is approved by the boss..
and if i don't do the work, the reprecussions are terrible.. it's the annual report..
used to be that it's like NS.. everyone will kena depending on the draw.. then they kena into the committee..
but now, i've been inflicted with the project.. this project stays with my position now.. so in future, if someone takes over my post and i'm transferred, the fella will be inflicted with this yearly project too

I tried fitting another lens onto the D70s.... a Nikon AF Micro Nikkor 60mm f/2.8D which I signed out from my lab.
However, when I tried shooting with it, all I got was a 'fEE' reading where the f-stop reading is supposed to be.
Your lens works well with the camera, though.... it's my lens that has this problem.
Any ideas? -
i had a colleague who ORD-ed.
he was in charge of training.
when he ORD-ed, he threw away all the training records
because he hates the guy who's taking over him

just try all the layman troubleshooting techniques
remove the lens, put it on again...
on and off... -

there is a click at side of your lens (near the f stops)...try to "unlock" the click and try again and switch on the cammy again......
mine did that many times, when i accidentially "twisted/turn" the lens...
(forget it's a prime lens...bad habit..)

seems like almost everyone has given up working there. -
there was this asswipe who did that here out of sheer malice...
he threw away all the files on purpose... he was the secretary of that lot of meetings... all he had to do was to leave them in the filing cabinet but he took them out and threw them all into the sacks for pulping at the paper mill... luckily, the clerk who would set him on fire if we'd let her, thought he'd do that and went to look at the recycling bins.. and found the files..
i had a run-in with him in my last position in woodlands.. effing accused him of being a bootlicker and a totally irresponsible piece of turd... in front of everyone including his team.. his team looked at just basically tried their best not to laugh..
imagine.. in his team of over 100 people, no one would even want to talk to him
they called him "the albino dog" because he behaved like a running dog to the senior management whenever they were present... but was a total asswipe to everyone else..
