  we didn't get a white Christmas but that's fine with me. me ain't no fan of driving in the snow. and it was food and more food. i am not one to make new year resolutions but i guess i'll have to cut back on food neh.

  I was my own Santa this year! Splurged on a lovely desktop PC with a few computer games and renewed my subscription to an online gaming site.
  
  Christmas was cold here with torrents of rain and strong winds. It's going to get alternatively hot and cool here for the next week, according to forecasts.
  
  I didn't feast on Christmas. Went to work, had elaborate plans after work, but promptly fell asleep on the couch when I tried to watch TV, so there goes any Christmas fun!

  windows live messenger allows you to add contacts from yahoo messenger.. i think. I got a couple of friends who have yahoo only and I can talk to them using my msn..

  the previous program i used, bloody hell... it "resets" the downloads.
  meaning i can download till 99%, when i switch off the laptop and come back again, it goes back to 0%!!!!!
  
  i used azureus last time but it caused problems, i dunno if there's any updated version which will run smoothly
