There was a TV interview re. the Sydney New Year Countdown celebrations where some bloke in charge of organising the event said it took 14 months to plan and it cost a total of $4 million, of which 25% went into paying for the fireworks!
He tried to justify the expense by saying there were about a million people out there celebrating and it works out to about $4 a head.
Still... A$1 million burnt and blasted away...

You don't get great graphics and all.... but you get a powerful storyline, well fleshed-out characters....
.... and you get to literally scream 'Hold It!' and 'Objection!!!' into the microphone. -
