How about yourself?

Before coming to Melbourne, I got hold of a few travel guides and read them but the road names, building names etc meant nothing to me so even though I read them, it was like reading fiction, almost as if it's of no relevance.
Last year, I bought a few books on Korea, because I aim to travel there by 2010. Same experience... just cannot remember the things I want to remember, and whatever I read just cannot sink in.
I guess it's one thing to read and prepare a trip, and really quite another to actually see, touch, feel, smell and do things.
Thanks!Originally posted by zoragirl:maybe we are the same - dun mind dating but nothing more than that atm...

I'm returning home to be an aunt for the very first time!
The baby girl is going to be a Rat too, just like her aunt!
So I'm making sure that she grows up to be part of the Rat Pack!

There are Cantonese-speaking Vietnamese too. I didn't know until I went to Victoria Street and started speaking to the Vietnamese shop owners there and learnt a bit more about their culture.
I thought you were heading to Nepal?
Just borrowing the term "Brat Pack" but since Rat is a homonym, ah well...Originally posted by Ferret:rat...pack ?
