I am soooo into this drama!![]()
And Bear, you are so not allowed to insult this drama!
I heard from my Korean colleague that a new drama series starring that Princess in Princess Hours is really good! She gave it a thumbs up! It's called, "Coffee Prince No. 1". If you can't find it in Singapore, give me a holler and consider it yours!Originally posted by elindra:![]()

I never knew why the girls were crazy over him because I never watched the drama that made him famous here... that Winter Sonata thing, because I don't want to cry.And I watched a few of his movies and thought, "What's the big deal about him?"
But ooooh!! This drama... he rocks in this drama!! I think I've fallen in love again...![]()

I am suddenly very interested in the showOriginally posted by Rhonda:Erm... so far, no rippling muscles exposed. Shucks!!
The men in this drama are all very masculine! And one of the ladies is so pretty, she's really drop-dead gorgeous!! I couldn't take my eyes off her because she's such a delight to watch! A true beauty!
I go see if I can get more photos...

When I subscribed to Foxtel, all I watched for the next few weeks were news and documentaries, and nothing else but documentaries and more documentaries.Originally posted by the Bear:i'm stuck.. i don't know what or how to write the reply to that asswipe who wants the returns..
i've never been one to be able to write the obvious which they obviously do not want to see.. i'm hamstrung by that quirk in me
oh well.... anyway, i'm not a big fan of drama.. give me something real life anytime.. like Bourdain... his searching for something better, his journey to find that something beautiful, and his trying to hide his surprising vulnerability in that facade of worldly jaded cynicism is so much more engaging and heartwarming.. and sometimes so much more hilarious than any drama can be...
and also documentaries.. i love those too..
so, i guess between dramas and reality, reality has my time on the tube
when r u coming out of ur closet ?Originally posted by av98m:I am suddenly very interested in the show

I think I go through phases.![]()
I've watched Bourdain during my documentaries phase!Originally posted by the Bear:i think i've been watching cartoons, news and documentaries.. dramas are.. dunno.. never held my interest..
movies, maybe.. but tv shows.. rarely...
i wonder when we're going to do our bulk order of DVDs.. i want the two Bourdain No Reservations series.. they're amazing.. have you watched them?
if not, and if you can spare the data (i know you've got a limited data throughput thing) go to youtube and google "Bourdain Malaysia" and then "Bourdain Indonesia" for two of the best episodes ever.. just listen to him in Malaysia and notice him change.. and in the end, it's very poignant..
in Indonesia, the sheer hilarity of the nasi padang restaurant, and his finding of pork in Bali, as well as his insights.. are wonderful viewing..
oh.. and that incident in Uzbekistan too
hows it ?Originally posted by Fatum:! ....
