Btw the amazon river leads to the sea too
Amazon fishes do well in Singapore coz our climate is the same

I wouldnt call it a particular group.
Quite a mix of bikers from different groups. Its just that they may find that they travel well together and manage to get together for this ride.
The group was also splintered in a sense as not all are travelling at the same place at the same time.
I've got johan, jamerson & Kuan yee (female) in Laos now I think, they went over with the bikes on sampan. (Fatboy Harley & a silverwing600)
Allan & group is now in Mae Hong Song/Changrai at the moment. Their pics of the turns is good, and you can obviously see the mix of types of bikes. (BMW & Hornet....can't remember which other type bike is there.)
I understand there is also another group elsewhere, but roughly is northern thailand too.
there is also a meet up at ipoh when they return, so you might be able to join?
Stormriders has chinese new year rides planned, quite good to join them if you can. -

i am sorely tempted to come back singapore, get a big bike and tour Northern thailand myself end of this year. -

i think my resolution for 2008 is to hang out at bike forums more.
for a biker i don't go to bike forums and i don't even hate bike forums.

weather sux, keeps raining.
my penpal tells me weather is good in thailand now, rarely rains and the mornings are damn cool.
its a weekend, i should be up in m'sia staying 1 night in malacca or something -

Hot and sunny during the day. Dam good to hang out washing. Just hang out a load now and its drying up faster then you can say 'Hello!'
and then it rains cats & dogs at night.
I got sunburned at the base of my neck yesterday, riding around will full face. Blardy hell.....the collar didnt cover much so those area got burnt. I am resting home today because it was so hot!
The cold shower is fantastic though. -

anyway i've already booked my flight to brunei during that period
so i'll go there for a 'holiday' while they pay me. -

Ok, then I am counting on you for asking for directions and dealing with any burly guys.
I deal with hotel stay and location to visit.
But you must tahan my slow speed can? Cos I think I might have to take on a naked bike since i dont have the height for anything bigger or speedier. -
I wont be taking on big bikes even if i am staying in Thailand permanently cos its freaking expensive!
I went for a quote on a 2nd hand Hornet 900.
Converted to Sg dollars was $30,000/-!
