I miss the CD shops in Singapore - they carried a wide range of genres. Here, no one has ever heard of Ronan Hardiman or even, Chris Spheeris!!

i've started marking on my calendar tis wk to see which day i am late... so far, it was mon only but tat's cos i couldn't sleep well at nite, had allergy rash >.< -

I feel so sorry for the cab drivers.
Looks like when I return home in April, I'd better not go around in cabs like I did the last time. I think I only took the bus service twice and the MRT two to three times the previous trip. I felt so deprived because taxis here are unbelievably costly and you stand the risk of your driver playing tricks like pretending not to know the venue and taking the longer route so when I was back, it was taxis all the way.
Incidentally, yesterday, I met a few Aussies at work who had visited Singapore within the past two years. They all agreed that previously, it was cheap and good to visit SG but nowadays, it's become too expensive to be an attractive tourist spot for them, esp with our neighbouring countries being so much cheaper. Sad, isn't it? 
i dare not take cab to work... frm my plc it used to cost me ard $22-25 with all the erp and peak hr surcharges [BEFORE the price hike].... told the rest here, i took cab HOME once cos of my back AFTER the price hike, i had to pay $31

Previously I could count on my dad to give me $40 - $50 of spending money per week when I'm schooling.... now I'll be lucky to get any money at all.
He can't afford to give me a single cent over the past three weeks.... basically only the pay from my part-time tuition work is keeping me going. -

Nope, working in the mornings. I remember last year, it was too sizzling hot to be out in the open. And since the fair is open till 9pm, I thought why not venture there at about 4pm or so? I hardly shop for lingerie but evey now and then I would just walk around the lingerie section and hubby is quite happy to tag along.
