I did heard that NP would be allowing engineering students to take electives like econs -

Industry knowledge and savviness is far more important than a degree in this field. -

On the other hand, with a true social and people personality, an intuitive understanding of people and a genuine interest in technical abilities, there is a lot you can do in this industry without a degree - FIRST.
You can always get the paper later. -

It's an unforgiving industry
and first thing you need is a thick skin and self confidence. If you think you can't get in without a degree, you can't. -
The position hardly matters.
The environment counts. I was lucky to have a competitive class that drove me. -
