it was thrilling...
yesterday, out from airport, we met 1 chinese young working couple.
so me and lady buddy, and 2 of them decided to go Cu Chi Tunnel.
got a cab and paid dearly for the cab fare (it;s the same everywhere).
the cab was white with a taxi sign on top. we sit and reach cu chi tunnel, we noticed his taxi top (the signage) is no longer there. he is patient enough to wait for us to visit the tunnel and sent us back to hotel (with oki price).
on our way back, the police stopped us. he was detained.. i think for nearly barge red light and ....being fake cab driver. we switch cab and got to hotel safely... but he kana Ushered to police station.
very weird here, 2 policemen with a motorbike....
1 policeman leave 1st, the 2nd (the senior one) hop onto the cab (the one kana arrested one), and the cab driver drives him away to police station (i think).

I have learnt the art of crossing the vietnam road without traffic lights and thousands of motorbike and cars dashing from all directions.....zipping pass by an inch every time...
and yet... i have not learnt a single word...
and i ate by the street, like the local, sitting on small chair in dim corners of the road/streets...and nearly broke one of the tiny chairs...

Ok I had to do a water change due to the stupid filter failure
Pics were taken right after water change and the sand hasn't really settled so it's kinda 'snowy'
