  Another one claimed that sending Vipers to intercept an intruding plane is considered as 'an overreaction'.
  
  I'd like to see him applaud the government for not overreacting if the plane was loaded with explosives and crashed into his HDB block.

  Anyway, a cute little gem I found at Cash Converters today:
  
  
  
  I remember supporting the Lions with all my heart and soul when I was just a kid.
  
  And dang.... I was really lucky to be at the Shah Alam stadium when we won our last-ever Malaysia Cup in 1994.

  that was the golden era of Singapore soccer ........ I think the only reason we got kicked out was cos they were sore losers ........

  If I remember correctly.... there was a huge wave of arrests among the Malaysian teams due to widespread corruption.
  
  And then FAM accused us of 'not doing enough' to stop football corruption.... never mind about the infamous Michael Vana saga.
  
  I guess they find it hard to believe that our team can indeed have little corruption compared to their teams.

  Singapore soccer was never the same after that ... it all went downhill from there, after a while, I stopped following local soccer .....

  but every now and then when we whack vietnam or get whacked by thailand .... it's still worthwhile to watch ...
  
  but the kallang wave won't be the same in a covered dome stadium though ....
