I'm using FF both at work and home.. maxonline connection at home.. work i think is starhub..
Its slighly faster now, but if i'm in sgf for too long my browser shows signs of slowing then I'll have to close sgf for a while until the browser goes back to normal speed..

it's still slow as hell for me it's getting frustrating ! ...

clear cache? i think fi mentioned there is a problem with java and jason is looking at solving that problem or soemthing..

I wonder if I'm actually burnt out from dealing with the demanding patients and their relatives at work.
These days, I not only drag my feet to work, and am often 3-5 mins late for work, I find myself working slower than usual, dilly-dallying, getting distracted, not being able to get myself to work as fast as I'm capable of. 
I think I'm just really, really tired from all the demands of the job. Sadly, it's not even matters of a clinical nature, which I wouldn't have minded as much, but rather, silly and trivial stuff like pandering to unusual and often unreasonable requests and complaints.
I became a nurse because I wanted to help save lives... but the bulk of my job is spent trying to please people who are almost impossible to please, or who constantly make unreasonable demands that are totally unrelated to their health condition. Sometimes, it feels like a blardy customer service front desk kinda role, or even, like a hotel concierge position, rather than a true nursing role.

I don't think it's so simple .... pages are loading slower from the onset .... it's something to do with the way they are constructing the dynamic content now ...

opera's performance is slower than FF's ..... the only thing going for opera is that there's no resources buildup after a long time ...

I just sent a ticket to Gigabyte Technologies about my motherboard. Only reads up to 1.5GB of Ram when I have 2 x 1 GB DDR2 Rams inside.
I already did BIOS Flashing to update it. Still no change. Gah. I do understand that it will not show the exact amount of ram, prolly a lil lesser. But isn't 512MB abit too much?

I wish my dad's collection of comics weren't destroyed by a burst water pipe years ago.
I had so much fun reading those comics! They were the old Twilight Zone comics, and much much more! -

in office, we got.. uhh.. 256MB until i raised hell..
then now it's.... 512MB

I've gained 2kgs since my PC was delivered to my home! And that's all because I've been sitting in front of my PC constantly!

Should be mobo. Rams are new, and if there were any problems with any of em. I'd have 1GB or none at all registered. Thing is, I hav 1.5GB, but I have two 1GB's installed.
Oh, and it mentioned Physical Address Extension. Which leads to BIOS updating. And I just updated to the latest version. I'll just have to wait for a reply. :/

yah, me too. i mean there are changes where one goes "wow, that's great" but erm, not this one.
i am still trying to adjust to the new look and all that navigation.

I'm online almost all my waking hours! Maybe I'm playing games when you're online, that's why we didn't bump into each other. Don't forget the time difference... it's now 1:20am for me and since I've gotten my PC, I've been sleeping at 2:45 am till 4:45 am!!

yah. itsl ike when they revamped the NIE portal. Last time I justed needed 2 clicks to access info on my courses and course documnets.
NOW... i need like 4 clicks. stupid one.
