Something interesting I found......
Starscream, Optimus Prime, Ironhide, Ratchet, Barricade, Bumblebee, and Jazz.
Note that, with the exception of the F22, they're all General Motors products.
GM was running an aggressive ad campaign for their vehicles that tied in with the movie last year. The ads featured the Autobots and Decepticons transforming into various shiny, new 2008 GM vehicles.
However, the ads instead had existing GM customers wishing their unreliable and poorly-built GM vehicles could transform into Hondas or Toyotas.
Boo.

The Peterbilt truck (Optimus Prime) was also supplied by GM? Didn't know that...
From what I read, they used the Peterbilt instead of the 'cab-over-wheels' truck for Optimus because the latter would make him too small.
Which begs the question: why didn't they simply put a trailer with a container behind him? They could have easily made Optimus bigger that way.

Good point.
Plus, they could have KITT from Knight Rider emerge from the trailer/container. ![]()

Anyway, in other news, the FS and I are interested in signing up for a basic rock-climbing course. Just doing it for fun.
Using Google, I've come across courses by ClimbAsia and Climb Adventure..... anyone here with any personal recommendations for basic courses?

i'll always equate The Knight Rider with The Hoff... and The Hoff will always be the guy who unsuccessfully tried to eat a cheeseburger and got filmed by his daughter doing it ![]()

I can still remember some really good shows from the late 80s and early 90s..... Knight Rider, Magnum PI, MacGyver, Fresh Prince of Bel-Air..... you name it.
And that was the golden age of cartoons as well..... Bionic Six, M.A.S.K, G.I. Joe.... I loved them all.

What's truly shocking, is that they shipped the smoked rats without refrigeration!!!
Now, if they hadn't been vacuum-packed, which I can bet your bottom dollar they aren't, that would be a real toxicology gamble! ![]()
