  and yah.. i have an "increment" due to seniority.. but it's stopped for ages already... no pay adjustment even when my jobscope increased about 350% to 400%..

  err issit cos u reach pay ceiling? if u get seconded to another civil board, will u get pay adjustment??

  but so far i know.. shouldn't have 0 increments for 11 years totally.. its just weird... unless ur salary has hit the ceiling..

  yah.. i got promoted earlier in my career.. but then they restructured the whole rank system, it didn't matter

  then the senior management realised someone like me will not turn over and play dead, i'm kinda condemned and reached that ceiling early...

  people like me do not get seconded.. too much of a bad rep already

  thing is, our HR is not from the same scheme as the organisation so they don't even care to fight for anything from the Ministry.. they just go in there and sit there quietly while the others fight tooth and nail for every scrap..

  we've been promised a lot of things.. and this time, by a No.1 who cares and is willing to piss off other people to get our rights.. so we're waiting.. supposed to announce soon.. we're keeping our fingers, toes and eyes crossed

  i reckon hard for u to change a career too at this stage... well good luck :) A lot of my friends work in civil service but really never hear such a bad HR scheme :(

  sad thing is, i like my job.. except for the moment... stuck in something totally useless..

  but it's like NS...

  i would.. but i'm lazy..

  my organisation actually does important work.. thing is, we've been damaged terribly by a No.1 in the past with his listening and believing all the con-men-sultants which did our organisation a lot of harm..
