Transport? Go and apply for NSmen ezlink card from your S1 branch. $52/month for bus, $45/month for trains, $97/month for hybrid. That's what I'm paying as well as a tertiary student - almost one third of my budget goes into transport. It hurts me to pay for it, but boh pian - I just remembered that I need to top it up for February.

Brrrr!!! I've been seeing scenes of China's heavy blizzard on CNN. I feel really sorry for the hordes of people who work seven days a week for the whole year, with only this ONE holiday period to look forward to and now, they are all stranded and can't even reach their families and friends! It's a terrible predicament to be in.
Y'know, Melbourne's winters are relatively mild. I LOVE Winter!!

LOL. Sorry to blow your bubble but....really, free food for my side is a myth. We don't have cookhouse for us. It's for the base people. If my chef no cook, then its no lunch. Especially Monday. Because we only embark rations on Monday, during which there will be no food cos the food usually runs out by Friday.Anyway, if I can still survive comfortably after I handed over $500+ this month, then I don't think I have $$ issues. Thankfully.

Yah, this seems to be a pretty rare weather occurrence in China. I'm just waiting for the envirowhackos to use this as "evidence" of global warming.
It's summertime in Australia now, isn't it? I keep having to remind myself the seasons are reversed there.
