bliss at the office..
it's the corporate planning seminar...
none of the heads, directors, deputy directors or anyone from the senior management is here...
it's so peaceful

Woke up early this morning to find that the pump died
And I saw my Gulper near the top of the tank gasping for air and a very nice golden color ><"
Apparently the Redtail Catfish and Bating can breathe better under poor air conditions.
Anyway, one of the fishes puked too so I had to clean the tank ><"
And then I transferred the Redtail and the Bating into a pail each
Ok the Gulper started to turn black again when I removed those too clowns and added fresh water into the tank.
Managed to find the batteries for the back-up pump to work but not sure how long it will last so the 2 giants will be staying in the pails till I get a new pump when I come home ><" -

so much work can be done if there are no incessant interruptions by the boss...

That's the thing about rearing fishes. If pump die, very troublesome.
Last time used to keep kois.. when there is a blackout, we are all so worried about the fishes.. coz our pumps don't run on batteries.. -

Last time the pump died when we were out at work and came home late so can't save them
I think the pump didn't die for long this time coz I slept late last night coz I couldn't sleep and it was still working at almost 2am
I have a backup spare pump which is battery operated
Using that now
Anyway I removed the feeders and the 2 fat giants in the tank so it should be ok now. Piggy don't need the pump anyway -

is it unreasonable to ask for a proposed concept design? -

no.. we don't do that anymore..
price is one of the criteria but it is not the overriding criteria.. it is important that we get the best value out of the money spent..
but what is the overriding factor is that the vendor understand and has grasped the concept or theme of the project..

point: perfumes are DFS are not the cheapest around.. in fact, they could be more expensive..

btw, how come your pump always die one? is there some sort of power fluctuation/spike problem in your apartment?
