at least you get it back in medisave....
but i can't go other clinics unless i don't want to take mc... cos they ONLY recognise raffles mc... tat time suspect me of dengue, the blood test alone $60 >.< -

i got hammered with some kind of antibiotic-resistant infection.. i went through ALL the usual medication in the pharmacy before the doctor came up with that prescription...
that was after 2 months of swallowing all kinds of antibiotics from erythromycin to a mixture of a few types... all didn't even work except to mess up my stomach.. i think it killed all the stomach bacteria which helps you digest
i had to go to a pharmacy to get it.. and only after 2 days because it's a special order thing.. 10 days' worth of medication.. showed signs of working after 2 days, completely cleared in 5 and i kept taking the antibiotics to ensure total and utter eradication of that bug... -
One day I was sick, but still went to work in the morning and only went to the polyclinic after the lunch hour...by the time I finished (after a long wait), it was past 2.30pm, and the polyclinic doctor expected me to go back to work, until I insisted on her giving me an mc.
My ex-co then would happily allow us to go home to rest, but just produce the mc for records, yet this doctor expected us to go back to spread our germs. -
even the clerical officers of the other section noticed it...
without the boss around, i've finished all my work for the whole week
i didn't say a thing and they said that "eh? your boss not around to disturb you, your work finish so fast" -
I don't really visit the doc... Only like. If it's really serious.

Polyclinic meds dun work for me
The last time I came down with a throat infection
They gave me penicilin and it got worst
I went back to my regular doctor (Din't go coz they are bloody ex) and he told me penicilin will never work on me again -
I'm convinced the human race will be wiped out by some superbug one day because doctors give out 1 week course of anti-biotics but only give 1 day MC

goodness knows.. all it did was mess up my nasal passage and this dull yellow gunk was produced and will not go away..
it was torture..

It was so choked up I lost my voice too coz of the thick ugly mucus
When I say I lost my voice I mean it.
When I speak there is no sound at all
I was very prone to infections when I was younger
Luckily now it's not so bad -
