One of the connecting Perspex tubes in my experimental set-up broke.
And the best part? It was the one that connected to the 15-liter glycerine reservoir via a flange:
End result? About four liters of 80% glycerine managed to gush out onto the floor before I managed to grab a pail.
Took me two hours to clean up the resulting mess.

yes.. it's also used to make glycerine trinitrate or nitroglycerine
