  Takes half an hour tops, depending on your current version, to the latest custom firmware, which is 3.90. Might take an hour. FoC. :D

  Basically I'd plug the usb to the PSP, transfer some update files, let it do it's thing. I've got the cables, the programs, everything. :P

  And definitely a computer of some sort. xD

  bummer.. it'll be some time..

  not free for the next 2 weekends..

  but i've got a UMD to play in the meantime..

  i think mine's 3.71 or something..

  3.71 m33?

  One update is all you need then. :D

  3.80 and above has an option that allows you to remove the UMD while playing games from your memory stick. Sorta mounts an image on the cd drive.

  in other news, i should go get a portable HDD.. i've got 150GB of movies

  m33's a custom firmware maker...

  That means it's a 3.71 Sony... I'll have to 'brick' your PSP, which mean's bring it back down to 1.50, then use custom firmware from there up to 3.90. :P

  i'll leave it in your care

  i'll still want to get at least 1 or 2 UMD games.. maybe Tekken: Dark Resurrection or something.. something brainless to play..

  Could you let me know the price of one when you go shop around for yours?  I'm thinking of getting one too when I return to SG.  Ta!
