Thing is, I am to handle the family day thingy with a thousand pax attending.
SOme of us was lobbying for it to be held at Wild Wild Wet.
Should I have half the mind the flaunt my 'customer status' with them?
I wanted to lay low from everything in sg now. DOing so will mean I need to be higher profile. (POliticking is not really my idea of spending a good year.)

Then I woke up at 6.30 am when I accidentally scraped the scab off the wound on my right palm against a bed post.

Sorry to hear what happened to you, VK.
It can be quite traumatic to have something like that happen.Out of all the Team Leaders we have on our ward, only two are really capable. The rest are lazy, and don't give a damn about the work, but got to where they are because the higher-up's like them as they sa-kah and socialise well.
I'm just relieved that the Unions here are strong and unfair and wrongful dismissals cannot happen because the Unions will take up the issue and back the employee. I'm so glad I no longer work full-time in my old ward - there are more and more difficult patients and relatives around. There is this growing attitude that because they paid more to be in a private hospital, therefore we have to be at their beck and call.
The nurses are growing irate. Everyone is stressed out these days. I'm quite sick of dealing with behavioural, psych/mental issues and problems related to drug addiction and abuse. On Saturday, I had this crazy drug addict shout at me and basically just try to find fault with everything I did. I finally got so pissed, I shook my head in disbelief and walked out of the room, and went straight to the Team Leader's Office to lodge a complaint about verbal abuse only to find that this patient has been acting in the same manner to all the nurses assigned to him and basically, he's just trying to find fault to weasel his way out of paying the bill and to prolong his hospitalisation and his medical leave so that he never ever has to return to work again but will be entitled to claim $$ from the govt. Sick! This is his 3rd admission into the hospital, even his surgeon is sick of him because he's just putting on some grand act, pretending to be in pain just to get his morphine shots.
And yet, the system doesn't address such issues because patients have 'rights'! -

Ms XXXXX has demanded for my resignation today because I was shouting my replies to her on the telephone and that I was rude and disrespectful to her as a supervisor, on the phone.
I believe the rude and disrespectful portion is where I tell her to move to a quieter location to hear better our conversation.
It has been my pleasure working as a Park/Party Host and had the opportunity to have so much fun with the guests and party goers these past months. Thank you to Leisurequest for a really interesting time.
Attached with this letter is unfortunately a set of uniform (still wet & dirty from yesterday’s party event) for your necessary action.

yo VK, go speak this supervsior's superior in charge.
Obviously she is trying to find excuse to discharge staff of not her preference. is she trying to "control" and thus subotage the entire system at WWW. She may have bad motives.
In any job, if you find your immediate supervsior has unfairly treated you, GO TO THE NEXT LEVEL. You have the rights to set things RIGHT!
The Management of WWW may not know this conspirary of her and her "gang" (if there is) is muniplating with the junior staffs.
You may have to speak with the mgt of WWW. You may even bring them to light.

her immediate supervisor is the manager, which happens to be my fren. he has mentioned that she seems to be always recruiting indians (her neighburs, her auntie's son) and he is trying to diversify the racial concentration at the dept.

I am sooo guilty! Two days ago, I went to Cole's and brought home four chocolate candy bars, one box of mixed praline chocolates, and one pack of Ferraro's ... can't remember the name.
Thing is, I cannot, for the life of me, find where I've placed them!!
The giant Huntsman took it!!!

Nope... I did bring home the shopping... but I think I placed the plastic bag that was meant to be in the kitchen in my bedroom, and the one meant for my bedroom in the kitchen nia.
