Hmm cos i also always tot hot dog is with the bun. but my kids refer to the sausage as a hot dog.. and err they don't actually know what a sausage is. err.. so .. err .. nevermind.. writing lesson plans. so i wonder if people would understand if they refer to just the sausage as a hot dog... and if other people also call it a hot dog (like fatum) -

I like the kosher ones ..... gives you a nice snap when you bite into one .... (mex) chili and relish .... that's all i need for mine .... no mustard ! ...
