  Siiiigh... I was uploading photos to my Facebook when I came across old photos of Club 30 gatherings...    Sweet memories!  One day should create a montage, then maybe print onto T-shirts for us!

  I went to get my handphone from the service center just now.... it turns out that there were a couple of loose components that needed soldering. Now it seems to be working fine.

  I was caught in the rain on my way home, though.... even with my umbrella, my pants got really, really wet.

  dunno what term to use when you want to say the guest of honour "opened" the event..

  what is that word for "opened" ?

  the word has eluded me for the whole afternoon

  i thought of that.. but thing is, it wasn't a launch..

  nevermind.. i threw in "raised the curtain on the event" and threw it back at the vendors.. they're copywriters.. they should be able to think of something

  but he... commenced the event with a.. speech?

  it's very anti-climatic which is why i didn't use it.. the guy came in, and looked around, gave a speech and went off...

  so i'm trying not to mention the speech bit.. so "XXX commenced the event on 31 Feb" sounds kinda.. soft and not about right..

  thanks anyway.. it's now in the hands of the copywriters

  they are.. i think they're over a dollar and a half each or something.. even more expensive when there are ribbons or bows on them... we only use them to place photographs to give to special guests...

  I called alicia, she said if i were to print 10k pieces it will be down to 80 cents...

  Which is still expensive. 

  Cos 10k pieces will last around 2 years only. T.T
